A webinar of EBSCO Business Source Elite online database “Improvising & Redesigning Search Strategies for an effective and efficient literature surveillance- IIS University” was organized on October 8, 2021 from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon for the students and faculty of IIS (Deemed to be University). 79 students attended the webinar on teams platform. The resource person was Mr. Lakhpat Naruka, Manager, EBSCO. He covered the following agenda items in the session

• To create Personalized Account 
• Various Filters & Expanders – Full text , peer reviewed, publications.
• Download, Print, Email, Cite, Export PDF files Export in Various Bibliographic formats.
• EBSCO Mobile App

He informed the students about the access points how to access the EBSCO database and get the remote access, how to create a Personalised account over EBSCO platform & its benefits like – settings alerts for “Searches done” & “Journals” of having personalised account , which would help in saving their time. He also discussed about navigating through search results and printing/emailing/saving/exporting articles, using various filters through which they can narrow down the results and access the relevant data, download PDF files / exporting bibliographic formats / citations / abstracts in various formats. He also made them acquainted with the creating, managing and sharing personal folders
