Online workshop on EBSCO Business Source Elite online database

An online workshop on EBSCO Business Source Elite online database was organized on October 1, 2022 from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon for the students and faculty of IIS (Deemed to be University). More than 35 members attended the webinar on zoom platform.
The workshop aims to provide training to the students for utilizing the E-resources by using EBSCO Information Services .
In this session, Mr. Lakhpat Singh discussed about using the Academic Research and Learning. He explained the uses of Databases and taught to create a personal account on EBSCO for Research, Teaching and for the learning tools that improve insights and workflows and produce better results faster. The EBSCO gives authoritative information that enables teaching, learning and research success. It provides Library Services and Library foundations that drive efficient, effective modern institutions.
He also explained how to get activated and connected on EBSCO E- Resource and it provides Journals and Magazines, Dissertation and Thesis, E-book, Audios . He further informed students about different features of EBSCO that using this platform students can change the language of the required information according to their preference .Students can also download PDF and audio . It gives the Brief description of EBSCO Databases available in IIS University and the uses of it. It is the best searching practice to enrich academic works or projects.
Mr. Lakhpat Singh concluded the session with a quiz held virtually in which students have actively participated .
