IISU NDLI Club advised Departments of IIS University to conduct a video screening of their respective subjects in the first week of October, 2019 (2nd October to 7th October, 2019) from the videos available in the National Digital Library. One of the session was conducted by the Department of English on the screening of a few video resources - available at the National Digital Library of India - entitled "Supernatural Elements in Shakespeare" and "Research Topics: How to Choose and Narrow Down Research Topics". These were viewed by 24 students, drawn from the UG and the PG programmes, on 5 October 2019. While the former video introduced to them the idea of witchcraft and the supernatural in Shakespearean drama as a dominant fear of kings and queens back in the day, the latter was a complementary video on Research Methodology. The students were apprised of similar educational material and learning resources available to them, especially the ease of access to the entire repository on a single portal. They were also informed of the nitty-gritty of creating and activating their individual account on NDLI. The digital repository hosts rich content from multiple subject domains such as Technology, Science, Humanities, Arts, etc. for student and faculty-reference
