Webinar of ProQuest online database “Enhance Your Management Learning with ProQuest ABI/Inform Global”

A webinar of ProQuest online database “Enhance Your Management Learning with ProQuest ABI/Inform Global- IIS University” was organized on October 14, 2020 from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm. for the students and faculty of IIS (Deemed to be University). 54 students attended the webinar on WebEx platform.

The resource person was Mr. Sanjay Rajan, Training and Consulting partner. He familiarised the students with the Proquest and updated their knowledge with its functioning, how to access its content which includes dissertations, newspapers, e-books, periodicals, historical collections, articles on various subjects like business, management, marketing etc.

He informed them how to create a Personalised account over Proquest & refine the search with the use of various filters, narrow down the results and get the relevant data and also get access to the related items of the query done and save in the personalized account or mail the required content from the database. He also made them acquainted with the special technological features of the database, available libguides to help and support if the student find any problem in accessing the database.
